I’m looking for a Part-Time Caseworker (3 days per week) to join my constituency team in Rutherglen!
This exciting role involves supporting the casework staff by responding to constituent enquiries, managing correspondence on policy and campaign issues, and assisting with casework and constituency surgeries as needed.
Job Title: Caseworker - part time (3 days per week)
Working For: Michael Shanks MP (Rutherglen)
Location: Rutherglen
Salary: £24,570-£30,000 pro rata depending on experience
Length of Contract: 6 months, 3 days per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join Michael’s constituency-based team in Rutherglen, supporting the casework team in responding to enquiries from constituents.
The role will primarily focus on managing correspondence related to policy and campaign issues, while also providing support with casework and constituency surgeries as needed.

Skills and experiences:
Candidates should have a commitment to Labour values, awareness of Scottish and UK political issues and parliamentary processes. Knowledge of the Rutherglen constituency is beneficial.
